For the full effect, stand close to the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc on Plaça de Carles Buïgas, in front of the main basin. For a wider view that takes in the fountain and Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina, climb the stairs towards the Palau Nacional. The front usually fills early, so arrive before the first show.
